Massachusetts law requires that all students enrolled in 9 or more credits, and taking classes on- campus, must have health insurance.
Students meeting this criteria will automatically be enrolled and a charge will be assessed to their account. is our health insurance broker. Please visit their website to explore your options. Visit the Health and Safety Compliance section at for more specific information on the plan and rates.
Once enrolled, you will be responsible to manage your own account with , including modifying coverage in your plan, and any other customer service needs.
If you already have insurance
If you have comparable health insurance already, you can fill out an online waiver form during the enrollment waiver period. You only need to submit a waiver once a school year. Waiver periods are as follows:
- August 鈥� Covers the full academic year (September-August)
- December 鈥� Covers spring and summer semester only (January-August)
- May 鈥� Covers summer semester only (May-August)
Please visit where you may waive or enroll in insurance. Paper waivers will not be accepted . You will be notified via email if your waiver is approved or denied. If approved, you will have the student insurance waived for the period selected. If denied, you will be enrolled in the student health insurance.
